Creative Weaving
A Living Craft for Gatherings, Ritual & Connection
Weaving is one of the oldest human crafts, with roots tracing back over 40,000 years to early civilisations. Long before it became a textile practice, it was a language of survival and storytelling carrying memory, identity and belonging. Across landscapes and continents, weaving evolved, shaping the cultural identities of Mesopotamia, Egypt, China, Greece and Rome.
Today, I offer weaving not simply as an art form or craft, but as a living, breathing practice, one that invites presence and a reconnection to something deeply ancestral. It is a gentle remembering of a craft that our ancestors once held in their hands, an everyday ritual woven into the fabric of life.
Through this process, we return to working with our hands and forming the very foundations of the textiles that surround us in so many forms. In weaving, we reconnect with the beauty of making, the slowness and mindfulness of creation and the quiet intelligence carried within our hands.
As we weave, we begin to see, we are not separate pieces, but part of a much larger tapestry.
