The Art Ceremony :: With CLAY :: Sculpting the Goddess :: Totem of the Feminine
SCULPTING THE GODDESS
The Art Ceremony with Clay
An invitation to get your hands into the earth and play with clay.
In this edition of The Art Ceremony, we’ll explore the feminine form through the simple, tactile practice of sculpting. Working intuitively with clay, we’ll play with feminine forms, spirals, symbols and shapes, allowing the form to emerge rather than worrying about getting it “right”.
You might create a tiny goddess, an abstract feminine form, a womb, a mother, a wild woman, a creature, a vessel or something that surprises you entirely.
There are no rules and no need to know how to sculpt.
This is about touching, shaping, squishing, stretching and creating and allowing our hands to lead and allowing clay to become a playful portal into our own imagination.
We’ll explore the feminine form not as something to be perfected or looked at, but as something to celebrate, inhabit and honour.
Your finished piece will become a small altar totem:: a handmade symbol celebrating the feminine that you can take home or bring into your own sacred space.
A playful, earthy evening of clay, creativity, conversation and connection.
Come exactly as you are <3
No previous art experience needed. Just bring your hands and your curiosity.

The Art Ceremony :: IMBOLC :: Tending the Seeds of Creation :: Intuitive Painting Ritual
THE ART CEREMONY :: IMBOLC :: Tending to the Seeds of Creation
An intuitive seasonal painting ritual exploring the first stirrings of creativity, the returning light and the art of nurturing what is emerging.
As the Wheel of the Year turns towards Imbolc, we arrive at a moment of quiet awakening. A halfway point between the Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox, Imbolc marks the returning light, the first stirrings of spring and the gentle stirring of life beneath the earth.
It is a time to honour the unseen beginnings. The seeds that have been resting in the darkness, gathering their energy, quietly preparing for what is yet to come.
Imbolc invites us to turn our attention inwards and listen. To notice what is beginning to stir within us. What wants to be nurtured? What creative impulses are quietly asking for our attention? What might be ready to emerge if we give it the space, time and nourishment it needs?
For this special edition of The Art Ceremony, we will explore these themes through an intuitive painting ritual.
A practice in listening. In tending to the subtle whispers of our inner landscape. In allowing ourselves to follow the smallest of stirrings without needing to know what they will become.
Through painting, we will explore the relationship between darkness and light, stillness and movement, the seen and unseen. Following colour, mark-making, texture and intuition, we will give expression to the things that are quietly taking shape within us.
Rather than beginning with a plan or an idea of what the painting should become, we will allow the artwork to unfold organically, giving ourselves permission to experiment, play and discover.
Together, we will mark this turning of the Wheel of the Year through creativity, reflection and ritual :: honouring the wisdom of winter, welcoming the returning light and making space for the creative possibilities beginning to take root.
A gentle invitation to tend to our inner creative landscape, to nourish what is emerging and to trust in the timing of our own unfolding.
Your finished canvas becomes something to take home with you :: a tangible marker of this seasonal turning, and a visual record of the seeds, colours and possibilities you have tended to along the way.
I am looking forward to gathering together for this seasonal edition of The Art Ceremony :: a space for creative nourishment, gentle awakening and tending to the first stirrings of our creative spirit.
