The Art Ceremony with Clay
An invitation to get your hands into the earth and play with clay.
In this edition of The Art Ceremony, we’ll explore the feminine form through the simple, tactile practice of sculpting. Working intuitively with clay, we’ll play with feminine forms, spirals, symbols and shapes, allowing the form to emerge rather than worrying about getting it “right”.
You might create a tiny goddess, an abstract feminine form, a womb, a mother, a wild woman, a creature, a vessel or something that surprises you entirely.
There are no rules and no need to know how to sculpt.
This is about touching, shaping, squishing, stretching and creating and allowing our hands to lead and allowing clay to become a playful portal into our own imagination.
We’ll explore the feminine form not as something to be perfected or looked at, but as something to celebrate, inhabit and honour.
Your finished piece will become a small altar totem:: a handmade symbol celebrating the feminine that you can take home or bring into your own sacred space.
A playful, earthy evening of clay, creativity, conversation and connection.

No previous art experience needed. Just bring your hands and your curiosity.

- Please make sure to arrive 5-10 minutes earlier to ensure we begin on time.
- Wear clothes you do not mind getting creative in/paint/ink/crayon

A Blanket and cushion for sitting on
Bottle of Water
An Object that inspires the feminine form to add to our Creative Altar
(can be sentimental object, flower, something from nature or even a random object that inspires you - you can take it home at the end of the session)
