Red Medicine Yurt :: Ceremonial Evenings of crafting weave, community & connection ::

  • The Eleven Yurt, St. Aubins (map)

::Spring Red Medicine Weaving Series::

As the light and dark meet in perfect balance at the Spring Equinox, you are warmly invited to gather in circle for an evening of red medicine, crafting and connection.

This is a sacred pause at the threshold of a new season :: a time to honour what is stirring within us and what has always lived within us.

Together, we will create a collective and personal weave :: setting intentions for the months ahead while honouring a part of our story of womanhood that still lives and breathes through us. The threads we bring carry memory. They are sacred strands of experience, ancestry, tenderness, resilience and becoming.

As we weave, we remember:
We are not separate stories.
We are interconnected threads in a greater tapestry.

:: What the Evening Includes ::

Herbal Tea Ritual
We will open the space with a carefully chosen herbal infusion, honouring plant allies and the gentle awakening of spring.

Plant Connection Meditation
A guided meditation to root into the earth, connect with seasonal energy and invite clarity for your intentions.

The Weaving Practice
Using simple, intuitive techniques, we will transform personal materials into a meaningful woven piece :: a living prayer of memory and intention.

Sharing Circle
A softly held space to witness one another. You are welcome to share as much or as little as feels true.

:: The Sacred Kit ::

You will receive 30cm x 40cm Weaving loom (1 pcs wooden loom, 1 pcs adjusting rod, 1 pcs wooden comb, 2 pcs shuttles)

To make sure everyone arrives prepared, please bring:

What to bring to the circle:

  • Sentimental Fabric: An old scarf, a baby blanket, a pre-loved shirt or ribbons. We will be tearing these into "yarn" to weave your history into the piece.

  • Found Treasures: Items that speak to you, feathers, shells, dried lavender or unique twigs.

  • A Spirit of Openness: No "artistic" skill required; we are weaving for connection, not perfection.

:: This Evening Is For You If:

  • You feel the call to mark the Spring Equinox intentionally

  • You wish to honour your evolving story of womanhood

  • You long for connection in a grounded, soulful space

  • You want to start a new evolving practice and create something meaningful with your hands

No weaving experience is needed. This is not about artistic outcome :: it is about presence and connection. Red medicine speaks to life force, blood memory, lineage, creativity and the sacred pulse that moves through us. This evening is an invitation to honour those threads and remembering.

::Spring Red Medicine Weaving Series::

This is a gently unfolding series. While each evening can be attended on its own, they are designed to build upon one another, like layers in a weave.

The first session opens the container. We gather, you receive your own loom, we create the foundations, set intention for the season and root into the deeper thread of this work together.

The following two sessions offer continued weaving time, reflection and integration as the season progresses.
